We're home...earlier than planned...

Well, I left Thursday morning and headed over the hill to be at Jacob's graduation at 0800.. nice drive watching the sun come up and just enjoying.  Got to the school a little before 0800. Amazing how many people turned out! 201 8th grade graduates.  After that I headed for Walmart and eventually headed up the hill.  Visited for awhile with Cheryl and Adam and then headed to Eric's house for Seth's 8th grade graduation at 1900.  52 graduates from his class at Golden Sierra Jr High.  Then a quick stop at American River Pizza and then back to Eric's house.  A good nights sleep and then on to Antelope to pick up Jacob and Aaron for our trip to Bridgeport, picked up Seth and Adam from school and off we went.

At the bottom of the hill on 50 I let Adam take over the wheel and he drove to Bridgeport.  He did a great job and even had to deal with sleet and rain on 395.  Got there, it was raining and we found Ken. Poor guy it had been raining there for 2 days...:(   After a bit the rain quit..and we were able to bar b q some hot dogs and have some smorfs..(smores)...

The next day off for fishing...afraid the stocking of fish wasn't much this week...Adam and Seth caught 1 a piece...Aaron caught one and we threw it back after the pic..Adam caught one on Monday am but threw it back too.

Adam driving home from Bridgeport!

Every afternoon we watched the clouds come in, get colder and then the skies let loose..so yesterday we let the kids make the decision and we came home.  Adam drove home from Bridgeport and did awesome.  Seth, Aaron and Jacob spent the night in the 5th wheel and apparently enjoyed having their own home...I got up this am and made pancakes, and baked some cookies, finally about 1030 they came in and had their breakfast.  We headed for the park in town, but didn't last too long as it is just too hot.!   So we came home (after our trip to Scolari's) and just had an easy afternoon...of course there was 100 loads of wash to be done hahah...

Ken's bar b quing tonight a couple of pork roasts (we do have 4 growing boys after all)...and then in the am the boys and I will leave and head for CA.  I'll be back home tomorow night and then  Chelsea is coming for a visit on Wednesday!   Not sure yet if her friend Phat will be coming but sure hope so!

Adam checked his final grades last night 4.2 GPA...way to go Adam!
