2nd day at Niagara Falls

Today I went next door to Tim Horton's Coffee and got a muffin for us to split and some coffee..thought we'd get some breakfast later but we didn't.  After that we headed down to the WEGO stop but kept walking and walking..walked our way to the Whirlpool area of the river!  Awesome!! It was warm outside but it sure was pretty.

Along the walk to the rapids...BandB...

This one they are adding on to...

Now this was an interesting piece of art in the front of a BandB..
The Rapids...Class 6!

Diane walking along the boardwalk...

More of the walk....
I wondered what she was looking for...turns out she wanted
to feel the water...

The tunnel from the center to the walk...really cool
and in temperature...

The Aero Car...I knew I didn't want to do it...but thought
maybe Diane would...not..so we just watched it go across
and back..

They do have jet boat rides...not today...

We went in here for Jesse and some boys...they didn't have regular
food so we didn't stay..quite a building..

Canadian falls this evening..notice the spray...

American Falls this evening..

another view....beautiful!

Then we caught the WEGO down to the Butterfly Conservatory..Diane paid to go in and I waited for her.  Just not something i'm into but she enjoyed it!  We took the WEGO to town and stopped at Niagara Brewing, thought they would have lunch but they don't...so we had lunch at Boston Pizza..really good, and more than just pizza.  After a late lunch we decided to come back and take a break.

After a bit we got back on the WEGO and thought we'd find out about the lights on the falls at night...but alot of that doesn't happen until next weekend when their busy schedule begins...really?!  seems pretty busy to us!

So after a while of watching the falls we caught the WEGO back to our stop and back to the room.  Hoping to get an early start tomorrow as we have about 350 miles we want to do to the Amish area of Pennsylvania.

Adam called Cheryl and said they started at about 0500 and in his suit went to NSA (National Security Agency)..so hot!! Tonight they are going to see DC at Night...lucky kid.. I've always thought that would be so awesome!  There is supposed to be a blog that shows what they've been up to but so far we don't have it..

Had to update...had my first Tim Horton's Coffee this am..awesome!  Diane and I split a Fruit Explosion muffin...and it was awesome..so tomorrow she is having a pecan banana muffin and I will have the fruit one!  Bloggers we follow, such as The Bayfield Bunch, Our Awesome Travels and A Life Made Simple talk about Tim Hortons, and I have to say I understand why...yummmm!
