Dropped Adam off at American University and then on to Williamsport, PA

Let everyone sleep in til 0830 this am knowing we didn't have to be anywhere till noon or so.  Had a good breakfast at the Days Inn and then loaded up the car.  No problems finding American University.  We killed a little time until Adam was ready to go.  They had it marked really well so we had no problem finding where to drop him and his things, then Diane and I parked the car in the garage while he got registered.  By the time we got back there, he was done, had checked out his room and was just waiting for us to say goodbye..He seemed pretty nervous, but didn't really say anything..so quick hugs and off we went.

Good signs!

Diane and I got to Williamsport Pa after a 200 miles uneventful drive.  We're at the Super 8 and it's really nice.  We plan on getting up early and head out to Niagara Falls, ON.

We took a drive into Wiliamsport to look at Millionaires Row..old houses that are beautiful or once were.  Not sure of the story but these beautiful homes are now going downhill and have been turned into apartments and other things, such as YWCA and it looks like the projects have moved in..so sad. Maybe in another town, in another state this would have been the East Sacramento of CA neighborhood.

The Millionaires Row

Down the street was a brewery, on the backside was a beautiful mural, that i'm thinking had local people that had passed away, I know there's a story just not sure what it is.

Cheryl heard from Adam this evening...when we dropped him off he was told that orientation was "business professional" dress of the evening..breaking them in quickly I would say.  His roomate is from New Jersey and he met about 10 new friends already!  So sounds like he's doing well...glad to hear!

Ken spent the day visiting Russell and ran by Eric's but they were sleeping.  Back at Bryan's this evening enjoying.  Cheryl made him breakfast this am..so sounds like he had a good Father's Day.
