We had a good lunch here with a nice view of the falls. After lunch we took the car to the motel, checked in and then decided to find our way to the tourist booth and see what we could do. We bought the Adventure pass and headed out. First, we saw an interactive showing of Niagara's Fury..not quite sure what that was about and wouldn't do it again but done. Then we did the "Journey Behind the Falls"...you walk into 650 feet of tunnels that were built behind the falls in 1944. That was cool..I'd done it before but Diane really enjoyed it!

Then we walked down the way to the Hornblower. This is the equivalent to "Maid in the Mist" boat that goes into the falls as close as it can..You catch the Hornblower on the Canadian side. It was awesome and we both looked like drowned rats when we got off.
After that we decided to catch the WeGo bus and take it back near to our motel. Of course while we're waiting it started raining. But we caught it and got off near Tim Horton's coffee (big here in Canada)...got sandwiches and brought them back to the motel.
Tomorrow we have the whirlpool walk to do and then a little shopping. Wednesday we'll leave and head for the amish country somewhere.
Adam is having the time of his life..he did the rope challenge today and said it was "freaking awesome"...I know they had a General speak today and the rest of the week is really busy til 2220 or 2230..I'm thinking he'll be a tired boy when we pick him up on Friday.
If u want to see what his week is like...go to: http://American.nslcleaders.com, then click on intelligence link...will give u his schedule!
Ken got home this evening about 1700 and said it was hot and smokey..guess there's a fire near Markleeville.
Glad to see you had a great day. Those are really good pictures of everything. I looked up the website of Adam's school, looks like a very busy week there for him. It's a good experience for him.
