Saturday am we got going and got over to the Rodeo..tons of people for Saturday's event and definitely a good time was had by all! We took our lunch with us, they have a vendor from town selling hamburgers, hot dogs etc but we just took it and ate while we watched the show. It was over at 1500 and then they have a kids event..fun to watch! About 1600 we left and came back to the park, after stopping at the grocery store.
Sunday am we wanted to be at the rodeo grounds at 0800 for Cowboy Church. The same pastor and his wife does the service every year. He makes it all sound so simple, which we love! A young woman came up and played the guitar and sang "Amazing Grace" and it was beautiful, she had a lovely voice.
After service we walked around to the many vendors, and ended up buying an old trunk and a few more other things. She had the trunk under a table and Ken was looking at something else and saw the trunk..$40.00 it was a steal. Don't know what we'll do with it, but too good of a deal to pass up.
The Rodeo ended later than the day before, but it was really fun! So many kids and their families! Love events that have the families out and about for some good clean fun!

After we arrived here Friday we learned Joey had passed away in Indiana. We all knew it was coming, but still so sad. Holding her and family in our prayers as they go on without her.
Today we head home, tomorrow to pick up the money pit!
