Plans can sure change!

September 12th...Cornersville, TN...Well today we pretty much stayed home as we were expecting our new exercise machine..a stair stepper..I did go to the farmers market in Lewisburg and got some tomatoes and squash..then I went to the Hometown Market and picked up a few other things...funny we don't eat meat anymore but I sure spend alot on groceries...so I came home and decided to go through my veggie cookbooks and came up with some new veggie burgers..they were good but didn't hold together again..these were made with potatoes as the base and other veggies.  Excellent taste but wish they would bond.  oh well

We were planning on heading to Henry Horton State Park this weekend and staying a night or two..they were having their 75th anniversary for TN state parks..so thought let's go..

Well, got a message from Becky saying that Uncle Lester isn't doing well..so we decided to change plans.  We were gonna go to Kansas on the way home and see cousins etc.  but think we're gonna change those plans and head out Friday.

September 13th ...Cornersville, TN..Yesterday got our new stair stepper...killer this am..climbed 10 sets of stairs,.of course Ken did better.  great little machine!! Talked to Maryann a couple of times and decided Yes we are headed to KS tomorrow..Ken mowed Don's yard one more time today and we got our stuff ready. Decided to take the car as with gas prices it'll be cheaper..it's about 800 mi to KS from here...great weather now in TN..not so humid and nice temps during the day. they are expecting rain this weekend so we are seeing all the local farmers, cutting, fluffing and bailing hay around us...nice..

Another month and we're headed home!!
