Monday, Sept 3rd..Cornersville TN...WE got up this morning and had our little breakfast figuring we'd be out at lunch time so let's see if we can find Chinese.. We headed for Pulaski, a little town which is just south west of here about 20 miles. Beautiful drive on two lane roads, tons to look at! We headed for Home Depot there. Ken's planning on making shelves in the camper. He wants one on his side of the bed so that he has a place for morning coffee. I want shelves where I keep the cans etc, because there's a big wasted place above the cans that could have another set of cans or bread etc.
I have to say the Pulaski, Home Depot has the nicest employees ever. You couldn't walk down an aisle without someone asking if we needed help! Incredible!
We looked for a Chinese place that we had reviewed, but upon finding it there were no cars out front and it's Labor DAy...not a good sign. So we headed back to La Fuentes in Pulaski where we have eaten before. Delicous! I had the chalupa lunch and Ken had a big burrito, along with rice and beans we were stuffed...A big 32 ounce beer and a little wine for me..Needless to say when we got home neither one of us did anything..
Come Dinner time...neither one of us could eat..good problem!
Tuesday, Sept 4th...Cornersville, TN...Got up about 7 after a horrible night's sleep for me. First one since we've been there and I am out of over the counter sleeping pills. We decide to head for Lewisburg and drop off the truck for the fluid changes, then drive to Columbia to go to US Bank and BofA...did a little Kroeger shopping and then it's 1300..time for lunch there is a chinese place in the little shopping center so we stopped to eat. Delicious, the name is New CHina, it was $4.95 for the lunch of hot and sour soup that was incredible and then the rice and dish! We will be back. Now we're home and Ken is trying to work in the camper..it's so humid I don't think he'll be out there long.
Tomorrow we'll be home, and then head for Nashville for the LOveless Cafe and seeing my cousin Melody who I haven't seen in 42 years! Then Ken and i are going to spend the night in Nashville...looks like Sat it's mow time again for Ken. Then who knows??
Life is great!!
