Quick overnight trip to Georgetown

Yesterday we got up and out of here about 1100.  Quick stop in Gardnerville, NV at Walmart..pick up a couple of cooked chickens and some beer and wine to take over to Georgetown.  It was about 1300 when we finished so went to a little Mexican place in town that Adam and I had been to when we first moved here.  Very good!  

Headed to Highway 88 and over Hope Valley to Highway 50...beautiful drive, just no snow to speak of...sad!

We got to Georgetown about 1530 so we headed straight for Golden Sierra High School because the game was due to start at 1630.  Met up with Cheryl and Mia and headed inside.  The game was a nail biter all the way through, but Golden Sierra prevailed!  Alot of energy in that gym!

After the game we headed to Cheryl's house and had some dinner. We brought the chicken but even better than that she had made a killer salad.  I do have to say she is the best salad maker ever!  She adds everything you can think of to a green salad and still have it be good for you!  

Bryan got home about 2000 had his dinner and headed for bed.  It's a tough schedule he's got because we heard him leave about 0430 for work this am.  Because he works the 3/12 4/12 schedule he gets at least 3 days a week off and on other weeks 4 days (unless there's overtime of course)...but it's a good drive to Elk Grove everyday...uhhhh...

We headed out to the little fifth wheel for the night.  Had our MR. Heater so we were nice and toasty.  The air mattress that we had at Don's house a few years ago is about done....no take that back it is done...flat with a big bubble on the side, so not the best night's sleep...oh well..

Adam called me in the 5th wheel this am (as I had told him if he wanted pancakes this am to call when he got up)...at about 0530 and in I went to cook for him.  About an hour later I cooked for Miss Mia when she got up...then I drove Adam to school (as a special treat).  We left about 0930 and headed home.

We stopped at Lowe's in Fernley to take a look at some ceiling and now are in a dilemma again.  I'm thinking a wood ceiling as the same stuff we have in the livingroom won't work.  Either that or sheetrock..which really is so boring..so we'll see.   Had lunch at Louie's Chinese and it was really good.  The hot and sour soup...Outstanding!  

After lunch had a call from the computer place  and the battery is in...so back to Reno tomorrow we go to get that done!  No wonder we don't get anything done as we are running to Reno all the time or something...oh well...that's what tomorrow's for or so they say!
