Gotta love the sunsets! |
On our way to Gardnerville yesterday |
We've been getting ready to head camping at Silver Lake, CA. Yesterday we headed to Gardnerville and Walmart for some food items for the trip. Stopped at Raley's for prescription refills and then back home in time for lunch.
We had one shell left for pizza, so made Ken his oyster, olive and mushroom pizza for the freezer. At least he'll have dinner when we don't want to cook.
We spent an evening with Karen and family outside by their fire pit. That's about it for the week after the kids left.
Miss Sophia, helping gather firewood |
We'll be back on Monday and not sure if we'll have service so I thought I'd post a quick one!
No address from Seth yet so the letters are piling up. Hopefully soon! But as they say "No news is good news!"
Grandson Adam took dogs on a walk in the water |
Lucy and Daisy on their way back to CA. Look a little tired don't they? |
On the quad ride the other day, a horizontal mine was found. All I can think is snakes or worse! |
The entrance to the mine! |
Nice quick catch up posting, Have fun camping our favorite things to enjoy.
ReplyDeletelove that mine shaft.
Have a hoot camping at Silver Lake. We used to camp at a park in Michigan with the same name. Loved it.
ReplyDeleteCute pix of Adam in the water and the dogs worn out later.
That mine is cool but creepy!
