A nice evening with new friends!

Sunday morning (14th)..Before we moved sites, we headed up the trail that goes across the freeway and does a loop.  Ken's done it a few times, me once..well got so far and I just couldn't do it..kept imagining snakes everywhere so he walked me back and then he did the walk by himself.  Hate being that way, but I am..
When he came back we moved from 21 to 45 and then I made sandwiches for lunch and we headed over to sit by the river for awhile..at 1300 I went and got the lunch and we ate by the river and then sat there some more!  Nice afternoon and then the winds came up!  After a while we went back to the trailer and watched some of the Long Long Trailer with Lucille Ball...classic movie!  

Tom and Lynn came by so we headed over to their site for campfire and chat!  They are such nice people and so easy to talk to so we did! Don't think we got back to the trailer till close to 2200!  That's late for us.   

Monday,(15th) we got up and got going, said good bye to Tom and Lynn and then drove the 28 miles to Lake Havasu..we planned on staying two days but without reservations they are totally booked!  So we are in overflow and going to head out today to Lake Mead.  Did some laundry yesterday and then Walmart for the trip home. Ken bar b qued some hot dogs and we had a simple but delicious meal.  

Beautiful morning here!  Shocking how many people are here, lots of baby boomers...

Have really enjoyed this trip, but time to work our way home and get Ken back to work on the RUDB (really ugly disgusting bathroom)...:))
