Friday, 22nd...Don came and we followed him to the gates of West Point and we just went directly to parking at the shuttle place...we got there a little after 0700 and driving by the parade grounds saw that the stands were already crowded and the parade didn't begin til 1000...a long time sitting on those hard bleachers!
First, there was a team of 8 jumpers from helicopters...awesome! The parade was incredible and then the class of 2015 gave it over to the class of 2016...just incredible how these thousands of young people get this all worked out!
We met up with Chelsea and some walking, a little shopping and before you know it 1400! We headed for the hotel and got ready for the Banquet back at West Point. Don picked up Grandma and me and off we went...
