Friday morning arrived with another beautiful sunrise! We got ourselves ready and left around 0900 or so. We were headed to Antelope, CA and our son Russell's home.
We got there around 1400 and visited with him and Lori as they were both home.
Around 1630 or so we loaded into their car and headed for Old Town Pizza in Roseville. Allissa (Jacob's sweetie) met us there too. We had way too much delicious food, beer and wine and before you knew it, time to head for Aaron's football game at Woodcreek High School.
It was a great game and Aaron was on FIRE!! No brag,(well, maybe a little) just fact!! 42-14 was the final score! Love watching the energy these kids have! It was a long game, we got back to the house close to 2330. We each had a drink and called it a night.

Saturday morning after coffees, showers and blog reading we visited some more and then we all headed to a place in Roseville called Bennetts. We've never heard of it, but Russell and Lori have been before.

Once we got home and got some stuff put away we went next door to visit with Karen for a bit. We had a nice fire and enjoyed the evening.
Sunday was a stay at home and get some things done until the evening when we went next door for a fire π
Monday morning we decided to head for Carson City's Kohl's store. It had been raining and would continue most of the day. Ken would have been stuck inside all day, so it was a perfect day for shopping.
I really needed some jeans and they had a sale (not as good as I would have liked) but I found 2 pairs of Levi's. Funny, I haven't bought "Levi's" since I had a pair Ken bought me when I was 14 or 15. Too expensive in my book. Oh well, these were "reasonable" and they fit! LOL. We left there and ran to Reno for a pick up visit at Total Wine.
After that about 1400 so we stopped at Betsy's and had our early dinner. Then home.
Today we're home. Ken's been outside chopping fire wood and it's looking pretty good out there! I'm inside, went though the pantry shelves and kitchen shelves to get rid of what's old. Not much so that's good. Just general stuff getting done.
I love your views!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, all those handsome/pretty young folks rocking their own styles.
Thank you Deb! We never tire of our views, or our grandsons and friends ..they grow too quickly!! :)
DeleteI can tell you're a proud Gramma and you have every reason to be proud.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing you said about the short dresses. Mine weren't that short, mom wouldn't have let me out the door. How do those girls sit? π€
As always, your pictures are fun and full of love. ♥
Aww thank you Patsy! Mine dresses were, and I have no idea how we did it! LOL. Hugs!
