Firewood, porch painting, short CanAM ride, keeping busy at home! Zucchini pizza night, Action shots of Aaron!

Found a place for some of my enamelware :) Love this stuff, but no room in the house!  Plenty of room to add more LOL..Don't pay attention to the a/c..that's from where the porch blew away and broke the window..still to be fixed..temporary..

Really hasn't been too much going on here.  We've been home mostly other than Thursday we headed for Carson City and Discount Tires.  The Tundra was badly in need of 4 tires after only 30,000 miles. Ken also took the final two tires on the Mansion and got new tires on them also.  A very expensive bill when we left there! Hopefully no more needed for quite awhile.

Did a little baking...low carb brownie, no sugar.(no fake stuff either)..sugar free chocolate syrup
lite whipped cream..sinful!!

A new banana apple bread for Ken's coffee treat :)

Because the appointment was for 0845 we headed to Betsy's diner and had a delicious breakfast that would hold us all  day. Then we headed for Walmart to spend some more $$. LOL.  After picking up the Tundra, Ken headed home.  I wanted to go to Ross and see if I could find anything. That was a bust, so headed next door to Penney's. Nope..seemed all the jeans in my size were sold out. Time to head home then.

We had a nice propane fire while Ken barbecued some chicken.  Karen came over, so we sent her home a nice chicken dinner.

Working on the trailer full of wood..

Ken's been working on the firewood we got from KC getting it off the trailer and chopped up.  It was a great day yesterday for him to keep working. I decided to paint the back porch floor. I found a full gallon of paint in the garage that I must have bought a couple of years ago. The only difference what was on the floor was satin and this was semi gloss.  Ok, let's do it! Love how it turned out.

At the end of today..his hard work is paying off! He did borrow John's tractor
yesterday for a bit to unload some of the wood that was way too heavy for him to
cut and move..Not bad for an almost 70 year old 😱!!

We did get a short CanAm ride in yesterday as it's probably the last one until spring but we shall see 😉

Love all the roads we can take right out of our driveway!

We made zucchini pizza last night because that's what Ken wanted. I made a personal size to send to Karen. We ended up over there for a fire later in the evening. She called later to say the pizza was yummy! So was ours!

Karen's was olive, mushrooms and spinach..
Ken's and mine..yum!

Fire at Karen's

This morning after getting the day going and one more day of nice weather I decided to paint the front porch floor! Looks so much better!  I needed something to do while Ken finished what he wanted to do with the wood.

I started to just touch up the other day and found that paint was semi gloss not satin..thought I could
wait until spring to paint..Nope, it was bugging me so glad this was a good day to paint!

Today's finished paint job..so much better! I love the shine!

Now we'll see what the new week holds. It's supposed to really cool down.

Some action shots of grandson Aaron from last weeks game we were able to attend!

Happy hour inside today, Ken just started a fire as it's really cooling down and the wind has really picked up! Barbecuing in a bit, so we'll jacket it up and head outside! It is Fall right?! Have a great Sunday evening! 💙
