Bryan and Cheryl got an outhouse!

A couple of years ago Cheryl was on the lookout for an outhouse for Bryan.  She found a small garden shed at Antique Trove in Roseville but for what it was it was too expensive.  So in talking with her dad, Keith he said he could build one.  Well he did!  Keith and his wife Renette delivered it yesterday to Bryan's house in Georgetown.  Pretty much they built it on site..Bryan went to their house last week and finished it up and then they took it apart and put it back together yesterday!  I have to admit it's very impressive built with barn wood from the old barn on Keith's property.  The barn was built in 1889! Has an old tin roof and some of the sides are tin also from the same barn.

The new outhouse before the roof

Well he drove her to drinking moonshine!
                                                        A typical night in Georgetown

Tomorrow we'll head out for the day. Sparks is holding its annual Rib Cook Off starting tomorrow.  We like to go on the first day, because there's not near as many people as later on. We just enjoy looking at the different vendors and people watching.  I don't eat smoked or other bar b q sauces because of migraines.  So we'll eat somewhere else.  WE went last year and Ken had pulled pork and I had a baked potato.  Thinking High Sierra or Great Basin for lunch.

Looks like we may have changed our plans for later this month.  Instead of heading for the Tetons we're heading for the Oregon Coast for a few days.  It seems we haven't been to the ocean in forever, and going to Ca coast is just not on our list anymore, because of too many people and it's expensive to camp along the Ca coast in the state parks.  You get very little and pay big.  We have friends that moved to Oregon several years ago so we'll probably look them up
too.
