Quick trip to Ca and now on to Austin NV tomorrow...

I was supposed to be with my sisters and Diane for the weekend in Sonora..but the fires took care of that.  Ken was going to be with KC and friends cutting wood but that fell apart too.  Cheryl called and asked if we could come over and go to the car dealership on Sat with her so we did!   Went to Elk Grove Jeep and took a drive in a Jeep Patriot 2015.  They had the best deal in town and Bryan and Cheryl had been looking for awhile.  Cheryl's car is getting old and having problems.  Adam will be driving in a month so they were trying to figure out what to do.  I thought i'd be going with them and then we'd see what happens. Ken was an added bonus that he got to go.  (if you want to call it that)..figure Ken and Bryan don't do well at car dealerships..of course nobody likes dealing with them I don't think.

Long story short..and it was a long day..Bryan, Cheryl and Adam are the proud new owners of a brand new 2015 Jeep Patriot..Graphite color..nice color!! Adam had saved his money from working this summer, some birthdays etc..so he put the down payment on the car.  Bryan is making payments..next summer Adam will get a job (no one wants him to have a job during school..as his grades are more important)...he'll make the payments and eventually it will be his car..if all goes as planned.  At this point I think he's the only one who has driven it..and he loves it!..I have other pics but can't figure out how to get them here..so we'll have to wait till I can figure this thing out! UHHHHH>..So we'll see what happens in a month or so when he gets his license.  We spent the night at Bryan's and left and came home yesterday.  I stopped in Gardnerville and did some grocery shopping for our trip this week.

Today we loaded up the trailer and got ready to leave tomorrow.  We are heading for Hickison Petroglyphs about 185 miles from here along highway 50..never been so that'll be someplace new..After that probably headed for Great Basin NP..been there several times but still one of our favorite places to go. Don't know after that what we'll do..we do have to be home on the 22nd as we are taking the trailer into Reno on the 24th for service.  

Tomorrow is our nephew Jesse's 30th birthday...hard to believe.  
Wednesday is our 43rd wedding anniversary..that's hard to believe too. 
Probably won't have service for a few days so will update as I can.
