Nugget Bar B Q Cookoff

We got up yesterday morning knowing we were headed to Sparks, NV and the Bar B Q Cookoff.  We thought we'd get there early but then decided to go by Walmart first and pick up a few things.  The cook off opened at 1100 and we got there about 1135.  Wow...amazing how many people were already there and the bar b q's were busy!  Like I said before we really don't go to eat the food, just to watch the people and see where all the bar b q places are from. So we walked around for an hour and a half or so.  I really hate to see what it's going to be like on Saturday and Sunday!  Way too many people for us!

So we left there about 1300 and headed over to High Sierra Brewing and had a great lunch!  Got out of there around 1400 or so and headed home..good day!


Today we stayed home all day and just worked around the house.  I cleaned up the 23 foot fifth wheel..it needed it.  Now it's ready for the boys who will probably be here during Christmas (well I hope so)..

All ready, rock spread

 Ken worked on spreading rock in his shed and he spread some along the edge of the driveway.  So then we took the quad and pulled the Jeep to the shed.  He also got the 2 quads and a bicycle out there.  Looks good.
