Getting things done at home. Congratulations to Adam and Aaron! Reno bound today!

Well, here we are again and the new year is just flying by!  I forgot to mention in my last blog that on January 1st I thought I'd make some blueberry muffins for the kids. Mixed everything up, turned the oven on and after a bit put them in. I noticed that it wasn't up to temperature yet, but figured it would be in a few minutes...Nope!

Our gorgeous sunrise yesterday morning...

The oven was broken. No heat whatsoever. Once the kids left Ken took a look at it. I told him not to worry about it then as if we needed a part, we weren't going to Reno until Tuesday.

Yesterday (Monday) he unloaded one of his trailers so he could load the stove in there and see about working on it. Me and my big mouth says, "Couldn't u just work n it in the kitchen? Seems like a lot of trouble to take it outside?" He says, "Sure you don't mind it in the middle of the kitchen for a few days?" No problem..hahahah. Good thing we don't have company this week!

Karen loaned us her toaster oven, while our stove is out of commission..

Anyway, we've spent the last few days getting the house back to normal and getting some things done.

The motorhome had a really nice, thick memory phone on the front bunk bed (which is the only bed other than the couch) If I'm sleeping up there then I know i'll be very claustrophobic so I thought I'd put it on our bed. It was too small for that but perfect for the guest bedroom, even though they are both queen beds.

I called and got insurance on the motor home, now we can get it registered and see about getting it on the road to somewhere close, maybe.

Grandson Adam texted the Sunday night he was signing papers on a new Toyota Tacoma.  Big step for him!

2021 Toyota Tacoma...

Yesterday our youngest grandson, Aaron got his driver's permit! Congratulations Aaron!!

Aaron!!

This morning we're headed to Reno so Ken can get his new seat covers installed in the Tundra.  These were custom sewn so hoping they go on without a hitch! We'll take my car and run around. Hate waiting in those places doing nothing..haha.

Ken wants to go by Cabela's (of course). I want to go by Total Wine (of course) and they'll be a trip to an appliance store for the element needed and Walmart for groceries. Our day will be done by the time we get back home.

Time to get this day started! Have a great one!
