Tuesday was spent working on the Motorhome. Ken got Mr Heater set up in there as it was definitely needed. He routed the propane hose through the floor near the water tank so the propane tank is outside. It'll be easy to take with us when we take her on the road.
This is how it looked before painting..I got things ready and painted all the white in the bathroom. Glad it's a small bathroom haha. Looks nice and fresh now. Other than a break for lunch most of the day until 1630 or so was spent out there. The afternoon warmed nicely so the heater was turned off.
Vanity mirrorWednesday morning it was near 0600 by the time I brought Ken his coffee. Ken had a breakfast date with Joe next door and I had a date with the MH. Ken started Mr Heater before he left so I went out about 30 minutes later. It was warming nicely.
I got started on the gray portion of the paint for the bathroom. Now everything looks nice and fresh.
Once Ken got home he set up saw horses for the 3 kitchen doors and the large bathroom door that I was painting next. Got them done! I think I'll really like the white/gray combination throughout. :)
White medicine cabinet
White cabinet with gray behind
3 cabinets along with the one from the bathroom..not what I would pick..but it's there!
This has been our focus the last couple of days and into the near future I'm thinking. Tomorrow will be a day off as we're heading to Carson City to get new tires on my car. By the time we get back it'll be too late I'm thinking.
Happy Birthday to our daughter in law Cheryl!
Karen came over for a fire later in the day and then Amber and Baby Amelia..A good example of why God gives you children when you are young! LOL...Have a great one!
Wow ... you even have a bathtub!!! The cabinets look great. I love that soft gray ... it's what I have in my Arizona house. Looks like it's coming right along!!!
ReplyDeleteYes there's a bathtub but don't think I'll be soaking in it haha. Maybe a 2 year old or your puppies. Love the gray wish it were 1 shade lighter but I think the rest of the motorhome will look good because of all the windows. :)
DeleteNice job refreshing the MH. You'll enjoy it when traveling.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Ken wold have been happy with it as was...but you know women! haha. Liking the outcome so far!
DeleteYou two are hard at it. Maybe you should go into the MH renovation business 😀 I like the southwest colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks Doug..I am enjoying the project, but will be glad when it's done!
