Halloween party, Company and too much fun!

Ken's sister Diane, got here Friday afternoon. Adam and Erin got here about 2100 on Friday.  They enjoyed some enchiladas and coleslaw and some conversation for awhile. Then we all called it a night.

Ken's Proud Grandpa shirts were looking pretty ragged so ordered him new
ones. Started with the oldest grandson (by 8 days LOL) first. In honor of
Seth πŸ’™

In honor of Jacob πŸ’™
Grandson Aaron and team won their game 18 to 15! Aaron hurt his knee and is on crutches right now, but hoping he'll be able to play on the 4th and we'll head over to watch!

Saturday morning I made some biscuits and gravy along with eggs and bacon that we all enjoyed.

After that I put together the 7 layer dip, sausage balls and deviled eggs to take to Karen's. The day flew by as they all seem too!

Steve and Candy got here late afternoon and we set them up in the Mansion.

Nearing 1700 we all were costumed up and headed next door for the Halloween Party. John and Karen love this holiday, so they go all out!

Love the witches hats!

The inside of their bar area

This one really spooked me out! he lifts the little girl like he's going to eat her
and says he's getting her soul..

John took us all on a hay ride which was fun..on their property and ours..Thinking
it'll be even better next year as they're planning some spooky things!

The Boys Next Door (the band) actually arrived earlier than expected, so we were treated to music earlier than we thought!

Ken's chicken fingers ! UHHH..NO I didn't touch them!

The Boys Next Door...awesome group!!

Adam and Erin heading out!

Steve and Candy leaving for CA

Ken and his sister Diane, before she left!

It was a great time had by all! Some of us more than others LOL. We danced the night away πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–

Sunday morning after breakfast Adam and Erin were the first to leave as they were taking the long way home to Chico so they could do a hike.

Diane, Candy and Steve stayed to watch the Raider game. We don't normally watch, but since we had company, we did. Pulled out the mimosas for all to enjoy except Diane who doesn't drink alcohol.

Once the game was over they all headed out for CA.

It was a pretty laid back day after a late night. We did have Happy Hour in the outside kitchen. Ken put the door on the wood stove as it was pretty smoky.

πŸ’™I love this pic of Erin on their way home yesterday!

My senior picture of Mason, we'll be getting πŸ’–

Monday was a day of cleaning and getting the Mansion ready for travel in January. Ken dumped and did what men do LOL. I cleaned the house and other things.  Later in the afternoon we headed to John and Karen's for Happy Hour 😊🍷🍺🍸

It was way too late by the time we got home. LOL. This morning we didn't get up until 0745!! Took our time reading blogs and etc on the computer.

We had a really late breakfast and then because the wind is crazy Ken found a great movie called "New Years Eve" on Tubi. Yep, get your tissues.

The wind is howling, there won't be  Happy Hour outside today.

Tomorrow is a run around day, heading for Gardnerville.

Have a great evening! 🍷🍺
