A sweet card in the mail today..It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (for a day anyway)..Bunk house is ready for Santa..Early Birthday wishes..

Got the sweetest card in the mail today so I had to share! I sent Rylee Mae a Thank You card for coming to our 50th Anniversary party a little while back. Today we got this πŸ’—

Isn't this the sweetest πŸ’—

She even wrote the envelope herself!

I'd have to say her mom and dad are raising this little princess right! πŸ’–

That's Rylee Mae, the cute little blond πŸ’• She loved to dance!

Yesterday we woke up to cold and cloudy skies. The forecast called for snow at around 1100 and yes it happened! We really enjoyed it!

Our winter wonderland!

Because it looked like Christmas, I had Ken start the Mr. Heater in the bunkhouse and after a late lunch spent a couple of hours decorating it for Christmas. Ken thinks it's too early, but what else was a girl to do??! LOL.

The bunk house is ready for Santa!

We always decorate the tree after we come home from Thanksgiving, but slowly I'll put out the other stuff.

Karen came over after she got off work and we had a nice, hot fire in the outdoor kitchen! Really love that area, and it was really cold outside with the snow.

Without the door on, it'll really cook you out!! πŸ”₯

Today, Wednesday snow is melting off the mountains and our property. It's still cold 43 w a feels like 37 as we've got wind blowing at almost 1300.

Tried doing a little online Christmas shopping today, but don't even know what to get LOL. I'll figure it out though.

Russell posted this morning that Aaron had a Dr.  appointment yesterday and was getting an MRI on his knee today. We will see..

There were some awesome pictures posted from his games, so of course I have to share. Sure hope he gets to play in college next year!!

I really love this picture!

And this one of his proud and happy parents along with him! πŸ’— Love those
smiles!

Tomorrow a special grandson, (aren't they all) will turn 21!! πŸ’™ I talked with him last night, but will call him tomorrow. Eric, Christina, Mason and Roxy are headed to Oceanside to spend a few days with him and Holly! Happy early Birthday Seth, grand nephew Owen, Bob James (one of my favorite sergeants) and The United States Marine Corps! Whew!

Tomorrow is a trip to Carson City for Ken's 6month check up with his pulmonary doctor. Dr. Foster sure keeps a good eye on him! Friday we'll head to Virginia City for the Veterans Day Parade. That will be a cold day, but so worth it!

Life keeps moving on way too quickly I'm afraid! So enjoy every single day!

Well, if things continue as they are, it appears Nevada has gone RED! Woohoo! Of course, they say it will take days of counting to be sure UH HUH..

Have a great evening! 🍷🍺πŸ”₯πŸ˜€

  1. A very thoughtful and cute card from the young Princess. Happy Birthday to one and all!!
Good luck with the MRI, hope it's nothing serious. Fantastic photos.
The bunk house is so cute, one would think there may be a holiday coming up or something!! Haha
You can keep the snow, very pretty of course, but that's enough and if it melts quickly and one can wear shorts again, I'm all for it. At least somewhere that I am not!!
Good luck with the appointment Ken.
    Safe trip!!

    1. Thank you Deb! Kara Hoffman Media takes some awesome photos at the game! I'm always impressed! No shorts here even after the melting! (I know I miss my shorts too) I love my little bunk house even though it doesn't get used that often. I love just going out there some afternoons, just because :)

  7. Kids do the sweetest things. Love the name Rylee Mae. Like my favorite girl from Arkansas. Dolly Jo. Snow already. As Deb says, it looks nice from afar. You have a beautiful bunk house and a lot of energy. Hope you two had a great Veterans Day.
