Home mostly, propane fill up, More convoy pictures!

Hagerstown, Maryland

Monday the 7th of March already! Just amazing how time flies even if you're just at home. This is where we've been other than a run to town for gas 😱 or a few groceries.  Doesn't make much sense with gas prices to go to Gardnerville unless we want to spend a ton!

We're watching the prices go up just about daily in town.  We're not as bad as CA but probably will catch up soon.  We've watched since probably last Wednesday..$3.79, $3.89, $3.99 yesterday $4.25, today $4.55. Diesel was $4.45 yesterday, $4.59 today. UHHH..

Last Friday the 4th was Bryan and Cheryl's 23rd wedding anniversary. Hard to believe how time flies there too!

 Bryan and Cheryl
Bryan texted last night so it looks like they may be coming out here next Sunday! Makes this mom happy! Dad too I'm sure LOL.

Ken's had a couple of projects going. Had to pull the toilet in the Mansion again as we had a leak on vacation. It the flush valve so we ordered another from Amazon, much cheaper than a new toilet. Should be here today.

Karen called the other morning as water was running outside by the well house.  Ken ended up fixing a broken pipe for her. John's in CA working.

Had a couple of delicious dinners this week. Zucchini pizza was so good!

Enchiladas and coleslaw, Ken will have some left while I'm gone 😀

My veggie one on the left..half for dinner tonight 😊

He checked the propane tank today, down to 10%. Called Affordable Propane and they were out here in a few hours.  It was last filled on December 13th. 180 gallons for $481.00. Sure glad that's not our only source of heat! I think Ken said $2.65 a gallon, December it was $2.39 Yep, everything is going up!

I'll be heading over to CA Wednesday morning to spend a few days visiting with grandson, Mason while his parents enjoy a few days in Vegas for their 20th Anniversary. 😊

Yes, I'm still obsessed with the People's Convoy and the Convoy to Freedom depending on which site I'm looking at. More and more convoys ending up in Maryland where they're staging from. Just enjoying the patriotism! 💙

Gotta love this little cutie!💗

  1. I'm sure glad to see people getting their kids involved. Patriotism needs to be taught to the younger ones. What I want to know is just how much are the fuel companies making? How much did their costs rise and WHO is making all the profits!!! If fuel was $2.59 and now it's $5.15 ... someone is making a killing!!!

    1. I so agree about patriotism! As soon as the media says gas prices on the rise it does! Someone is definitely making a killing and killing us in the process!

  4. We are getting low on propane as well and hoped to make it to summer pricing before we fill. Keep up the patriotism!
