A lot of beer bottles! |
Love all the old fire equipment |
After we left there, Ken brought up going over to Michael's Reno Powersports to see if the 800 Maverick had been put together yet. It was, and we loved it. We were still waiting to hear from Utah to see what kind of a deal we could get there so we didn't commit to anything.
We got home late afternoon so we went over to Karen's for a bit of catch up.
Tuesday morning we were just around the house getting a few things done. Utah finally called and because of the virus thing not a huge inventory anywhere so they're selling like hot cakes everywhere. Ok, well at least we know that it's not worth the trip to Utah.
I was working on getting things ready for lunch and Ken says "Let's go to Reno!" Ok but we better call first as the 800 was the only one they had. He talked to Shayne and said we'd be there in driving time.
Bottom line a couple of hours later we're the proud new owners of the Can Am 800 Maverick. It was a great experience. We'll be picking it up on Friday morning.
Now to figure out exactly what we want to do about hauling it around. :) Ken can pull doubles or we can put it on a trailer with the cabover (that would involve a new trailer) or maybe(???) a small toy hauler :) We'll see, we've got lots of riding we can do right around here for now. BLM just down the road.
Our new toy! |
Can Am 800 Maverick 💙😊 |
Nice storage area in the back! |
We left the dealership at about 1530 and headed for Betsy's Big Kitchen for dinner. We were both starving! A great dinner and then headed for home.
We sat outside enjoying the nice weather for awhile and then called it a night.
Adam and Erin have a few days together 💙 |
Our Sailor Grandson, Jacob💙 |
There's Mason waiting to unload their new toy! |
Have fun!! |
This morning Ken and Joe went to town to have breakfast and I had a little quiet time so decided to get this done. Ken's going to take the cabover off the 5x12 trailer so we can pick up the Can Am in it.
Have a great day! Time to get busy doing something :)

Thank you Patsy! We are very excited. As long as I stay away from the news I can almost pretend that life is normal (until I go to the store and see all the masks)..
