We're back home!

Got to Sand Mountain on Friday in time to have our yearly baloney sandwiches! Yum.. A lot more people at Sand Mountain than there were two months ago when we were out there! Quite the rv and atv show!  

It was warm but we put the EZup up and that made all the difference.  Took a few rides and watched a lot of atvs and rails climb the mountain.  

You see all kinds of rigs out there! 

Yesterday morning, took a ride and then loaded up and we were home at 1230.  Unloaded the camper and spent the rest of the day watching the Raiders lose. 


The pics below show just how messed up the sand was from all the activity.  Really jarred us pretty good and some places the sand was so loose it was squirrely..Like Ken said it's time for God to do a little grooming..never seen it like this before..but it didn't stop some of the die hard ATV riders.

Our friend Clif is coming for the night tomorrow (Tuesday)..and then we thought we might take the Jayco and head for the June Lake area to see how the fall colors are coming.  Heard this morning there's a fire in the area and it's really smoky..so now we're not heading that way.  Ken wanted to go to Great Basin, but I'm thinking it's a long way to go without having that much time to spend but you never know.  

I'm planning on heading over to CA for Golden Sierra's Homecoming game on September 30th.  Seth will be playing in the JV game and Adam will be on the field during half time of the Varsity game.  So I figure "why not"...hahah..
