We're off tomorrow! Adam visits, Avery of cours! :) Happy 25th Holly!

 A quick wrap-up as we are out of here tomorrow morning. Our 54th anniversary is the 16th of September. We like to plan vacation around that time. Well, we've wanted to do the train from Durango CO  to Silverton around that time but to get the seats we want we need to be there first week or so.  Guess people are wanting the colors of fall which we get. 

WE could do that  but Ken has an appointment on the 23rd. Anyway we opted to leave tomorrow and spend the night at Cave Lake outside of Ely. Then we are on to Goblen Vallly State Park in Utah. Our good friend Sue Black told  us for years we need to stop there years. Hopefully Sue sees we made it there from heaven. 

After 2 nights there we will be in Durango, CO for 3 nights. Friday we will ride the train from Durango to Silverton Co. That is on my bucket list After that we'll see where we end up! 

No Bologna sandwiches until the 16th though..LOL. 

We debated on doing the motel thing but the motels were ridiculous. 170 plus tax for an Econolodge?! nope. Not that the RV park is cheap but worth it! I'm sure we'll enjoy this trip! 

Adam got off the fire after 2 weeks so he spent Saturday and Sunday at home. He spent Saturday night with Erin and then Monday morning he headed over here (does it get any better for grandparents!) On Wednesday he headed to Virginia Lakes Area and did a  9+  mile hike from 10, 000 + to almost 13.000 mile elevation hike.

WE had a nice Happy Hour this morning and then spent  time getting things finished for tomorrow. Doesn't have to be a super early start.

We ran over to Walker River State  Park for a picnic and to get
the $30.00 State Parks pass which allows up to park in a state park for FREE if they don't have hook ups or $10.00 if they have water and electricity. Can't beet that can ya?!
