How time flies!

Can't believe it's Tuesday already!  Where did the time go?!  Saturday morning we got up and was at breakfast in town at 0600.  Delicious and a nice ride to Georgetown.  We stopped there on the way to Renette's to take a look at Bryan's beetle trees.  PG&E will take down one but the rest are Bryan's to take care of..So Ken and Bryan have a tentative plan for some of them.

We left there and headed over to Lincoln for a nice afternoon of remembrance of Cheryl's dad, Keith.  It was a really warm day (about 90) but if you stayed in the shade, not too bad.
Cheryl's sisters...Jody with the cowboy hat
Kim with the red solo cup :)

Bunch of the cousins...

They did a balloon release..We were
already gone..

It was nice seeing a lot of Cheryl's family we don't see too often. We left there about 1800 hrs and head for the Super 8 near the airport.  We've stayed there many times so we know what we're getting.

Next morning took our time and headed for Ken's mom's house for a bit.  Picked up some stuff we'll eventually take to TN and headed for a late lunch at Carson Valley Inn.  Then home and the day was done!

Yesterday Ken worked on the Bunkhouse, it's getting so close to being done!  I washed both porches, which of course leads to another project.  WE've got two rockers on the back porch.  They were one of the first things I bought when we bought the house in Weimar.  I ordered them from North Carolina and still love them.  So they're about 20 years old now.  Decided it was time for a paint job for the porch and the rocking chairs.  Got both of them primed and one painted, I'll finish that today and hopefully get the back porch painted.  So a quick trip to Yerington and Ace Hardware.

Pretty much finished..shabby chic..

The walls are done!

Looking to the back..the square is where the a/c
unit will go..the door isn't staying there..

Tomorrow we'll head for Winnemucca and the New Frontier RV Park for the night as Ken has his last lab tests on Thursday morning.  Then the joy of finding a new doctor.

We'll head home on Thursday after his tests.

Time to look for a new camera, my little point and shoot gave it up last week..:(

Tara posted a few pics on FB so I stole them...

He is so growing up!!
