Projects at home....

Well today we got our morning going and about 1030 I left to go to the True Value in town.  Love that place..spent too much time there looking at the plants and trees!  Ended up buying some plants and a couple of tomato plants...couldn't resist...they are called "Hillbilly tomatoes"... 

Just had to have them...love it!

So we'll see what happens...planted each one in a bucket for now..we're planning on a small garden so I may transplant when that happens..

Then planted some lavender, dianthus and another plant in a couple of planters..

So that's done...love lavender and the smell.  I remember when we were little mom would grow lavender and then make sachets for the drawer with it...

Ken used the weed eater and pulled weeds (it really needed it)...and then he worked on his fence project...only one small section to go!  We have to get a few more boards next week and he'll be done with that part!  Looks so awesome!

Our porch swing needed something..living in Nevada and the fact that it is in full sun..it had really dried out...so I used linseed oil and oiled it up...what a difference!  Should be protected for a while now..Ken said he'll probably go out and sand it and then we'll put another coat on in a few weeks....

So tomorrow we'll get the little 5th wheel hooked up and Sat we'll head for California for Mother's Day weekend...be back here on Monday and get some more things done...Looking forward to seeing all the kids this weekend..
