Happy Father's Day!

Friday morning we got up and Ken had seen that Sports Authority was having their going out of business sale in Reno..supposed to be lots of things clearanced so we thought, oh why not ..let's go see what they've got.  Well what a joke, most stuff you could have gotten cheaper if it was on sale..so we walked out with nothing.  Stopped by Sam's Club and then we were in Minden and Carson Valley Inn just about lunch time.  Well, our lunch time, which is just about 1300.
Wilson Canyon..looks like a party this weekend

The river looks so good this year!

Saturday about 1100 we headed for Yerington and their annual car show.  We've never been, I'm thinking we're usually in CA for Fathers Day.  I have to tell you we were very impressed.  A lot more cars and people then I would have thought!  Good music too.  Had a few drinks and just enjoyed the afternoon.

Thought this was the cutest wagon ever!

I want this one...not for sale..and even if it was probably too expensive

Early Land Rover

Icky..$1.50..

This ones for the boys...cowgirl boots and short shorts...

This is how we roll to the car show..
Owen was at a car show too!

Got home and the day was done.

This morning I took Ken out to breakfast at Dini's and it was delicious! Love our little town.  After breakfast Ken got some things ready for tomorrow and I made some potato salad to take with us.  We'll head for Winnemucca tomorrow and then after labs on Tuesday heading for Elko and Lamoille Canyon for a few days.

Eric and family left for Vegas on Friday morning..sounds like they've had a good time for a few days.  Today they're headed for the south rim of the Grand Canyon.  One of our favorite places!

Mason and Chris went to an Oxygen bar

Aquarium...

Seth and the ladies

Seth and Mason....

Adam headed to Boys State yesterday and on FB looks like they wasted no time in getting the kids to work..he was elected to city council.  Cheryl keeps me informed whenever she hears from him.
Adam headed for registration and the dorms

1000 of the best and brightest...according to the American Legion!

Well, today is Father's Day..Ken's heard from all the boys except Eric, but he'll call later.  Bryan called and Russell did a really nice tribute on FB.  The kid can write, not sure where that talent came from, but he speaks from the heart.

I, of course was blessed with the best daddy ever..and I miss him every day..

Daddy and us...
