WE HAVE A SAILOR!!! A day at Don's..Walmart etc...

WE HAVE A SAILOR!!!

Russell texted me at about 1230 our time which would be 1030 in California that "WE HAVE A SAILOR!" Whoops and Hollerings along with happy tears in the trailer!  So so happy and PROUD of Jacob!!

We all know how we worry about our own children growing up and then they do well...whew!  Then along come the grandchildren...they seem to be so little for so long..and then they're all grown up! Now what?!  They make their decisions and you hope it all turns out well.

I remember way back in our younger days, wondering if we would ever be able to help the kids out now and then if they needed it as adults since we lived paycheck to paycheck. Eventually life got better and yes we could help a bit if needed.  We always wanted our kids to do better than we ever did and we can say they have :)

Now we want our grandsons to do better and they're off to a good start in life.  I have to say I am the proudest Grandma ( and Grandpa, but I write the blog) there is with these boys!! So glad we're alive to see these milestones in our grandsons lives!

Ken spent alot of time today getting the trailer and truck aligned. Something has set high or low since we bought the trailer so he and Don worked on that today. I was in the trailer, locked in as the steps were up.  That was ok though as I was able to rearrange things and get it organized again.

Virtual Reality Goggles...we're playing a game..

Local Distillery in Lynnville, TN..
We visit every time

Too Bad (or maybe not) Big Machine bought
theTenn South Distillery..hope they keep the recipe the same :)

This barn has the name Phillips (my maiden name)
in it..plus it's a pretty cool barn!

Coming up Don's driveway...

Giving (or figuring out) instructions

Once they were done, we had lunch in the trailer (close to 1400).  We visited a bit inside with Don and Dana, went to Walmart for a couple fo things and then back home. It was such a beautiful afternoon we got the cushions out for the back deck an spent a couple of hours outside. Wonderful happy hour and no traffic! haha.
Lookin out over their property...so gorgeous!

What are you looking at?

We're watching the trees bud out while we're here!

Dana was out feeding the cows in the pen..

Gotta love the green and watching the cows..my kind of  Happy Hour :)
Russell let us know that our other grandson (Jacob's brother) had been picked up by his high school football team for Varsity Football! He's a freshman now.  He looks to be in training now :)

Dana has cooked so much while we've been here we told her to bring out her left overs, which were  thoroughly enjoyed by all!! We're all going to be gaining weight by the time we leave. LOL.  Thanks Dana!

Nearing 2000 President Trump was going to speak again...so I headed upstairs and the rest of the gang went into the living room to watch him.  I had been texting back and forth with our neighbor back home so I gave  Karen a call so I could get caught up on all the family going on's..We had a great conversation!

Time to see if I can get the blog up!  Thank your all the well wishes for Jacob!!!
