Ken's cleared to go!

Thursday morning we left the campground to take the truck to Carson City Toyota for its 50,000 mile checkup.  I followed Ken and then we both got in the Patriot to do some running around.  We headed to Verizon but they were still closed so decided to go to Marshall's in the same parking lot.  Nice store and I did find a few things so I left there happy.  Found a cute little cheese grater for the trailer and some sandwich boxes that seal tightly.
On our way out of Carson City..looked in the side view mirror
and this was behind us.  Had to pull over to get a few pics!

There's just something about a rainbow :)

The mountains were covered in low clouds..

Verizon was definitely open then. My phone is about 2 1/2 years old and the battery seems to die quickly and the screen goes dark sometimes when i'm using the phone.  Anyway they couldn't make it happen so they couldn't replace the phone, but i'm sure it'll get worse before it gets better. I'll just watch it.

Walmart of course, for everything else.  Then we headed over to Ken's dr appointment.  He was cleared quickly and sent on his way with a "Have a cold one for me in AZ!"  You got it Dr. Demar!

We hadn't eaten since our scrambled egg breakfast so we headed for our favorite place, Carson Valley Inn.  It was almost 1600 so we knew that was our dinner.  Our favorite waitress, Carmen grabbed us and brought our drinks right after we sat down.  Great dinner and we were stuffed walking out of there.  About a half hour drive to the trailer and we were back in our comfy cozy home.
Gardnerville, NV

And across from the mountain above, this is near the Minden
airport..amazing the difference..

Just because I love these mountains

A night much like the night before nothing too exciting but we like it that way!
Commute traffic out of Carson City..love it!

A little heavier, but nothing compared to Sacramento, CAcommute..

This morning, Friday we woke about 0530 and I started the coffee.  weather people were expecting it to be about 23 degrees but it was a balmy 37!  Had our coffees and visiting with our blogging friends and now time to get on with the day.

I'll take Ken over to pick up the Tundra, which is ready to head South too.  He'll head back to camp and hook up to head home.  I've got a couple of stops to make on the way home, one is to stop the mail for a month or so! Yes! We'll spend the weekend getting things done and if all goes as planned Monday am we'll be on our way!

Have a wonderful day!!
