Leaving TN...Marion Arkansas, Clarksville Arkansas and Eufala OK...

We left Don's house on the 9th...Ken and Don went out looking for the panther but didn't find anything...so then we loaded up and left...with a couple of hitchhikers along in the back seat..Mr and Mrs Nolan are along for the ride to NV and eventually CA...
Don's place where they went looking for the panther

A beautiful bush that has changed color since we've been there

We had a nice drive to Marion Arkansas and the KOA we stayed at on our way out to visit with Don.  Having the tractor on the back is certainly a conversation piece! Love it!

Mrs Nolan...they are quiet and just enjoying the ride...

November 10th...Today is grandson Seth's 13th birthday...and as it turns out it is our great nephew Owen's birthday...Dusty and Chelsea went into the hospital to have baby Owen and this afternoon he was born...Chelsea had a C section and little Owen entered the world at 4lbs 10 ounces...but oh he is so cute! Everyone is doing well and he is a welcome addition to the family!  Linda (my sister) is over the moon about becoming a grandma!! Congratulations to that little family!

We had a nice drive from Marion, Arkansas to Clarksville, Arkansas.  Stayed at Spadra COE park for $8.00 again and had a beautiful site...right on the water!...So pretty!  Right after we arrived I decided to meet the asphalt with my face and left side!  i was coming from checking out the bathroom and I'm thinking tripped over my own two feet...saw myself going down, and tried to hit the gravel..left shoulder hit, left knee and a goose egg above my eyebrow..ouch...today goose egg gone but it looks like I got punched in the eye...not pretty..wasn't the best night as my hand was really hurting..ahhhh...

This morning at Spadra...

The trees have turned so much since we were here...

Got up this am (November 11th) and headed to Walmart to pick up a few things for the next few days..then we went to Atwoods and picked up the Arkansas Razorback Ice Chest we saw last time we were here...decided what the heck we want it...so let's get it!  Honestly, thought we'd never get out of the parking lot...as people kept talking to us about the tractor!  Really kind of cool...as people are so nice!  One young guy came up and said..."Wow..u really have a treasure there...then told us about the highway 64 yard sale and the bargains we could get...hmmmmm"

So excited about my little ice chest!

We headed for the restaurant we were at last week for lunch...yummmm...Ken had an awesome burger and fries..and I had their lunch plate...grilled chicken, mashed taters..gravy..and this awesome slaw with broccoli, cauliflower and maybe a apple cider dressing..it was so good..it came with a piece of cake..and she gave Ken one too..so we brought that home...way too much food!  Can't wait to go back on the way back out here next year!! yummmmm!!!

Finally got on the road about 1300 and we knew we were headed for Eufala, Oklahoma State Park..beautiful, full hookups and because I am married to the old guy...during the week $12.00!  Does it get any better!?  Tomorrow we are staying another night and will check out the area along with Checotah, OK...Carrie Underwoods home town...but actually, in 2008 Bryan, Cheryl, Adam and I had breakfast there..but it will be a fun day...
