Lake Eufuala OK to Fort Cobb State Park OK...

We left Clarksville, Arkansas and ended up at Lake Eufuala, Ok State Park...thought we would stay for 1 night but ended up there for 2...first night we had a late lunch at the truck stop, South Park in Clarksville, so we weren't hungry...so I cooked up some grilled cheese sandwiches to hold us over.  Yesterday, we went to Walmart, Atwoods and then through the town of Checotah, OK.  Did some antique shopping but came back with nothing!...It was soooo cold!! Spent the evening indoors other than Ken bar b qued some awesome boneless pork ribs!...the best i've ever had!...

Lake Eufuala ....huge!

Honey Springs Battlefield...nothing to write home about...

Memorials at the battlefield...some u can't even read
as the sun has done damage....

Got up this am and after showers we headed out..we knew our destination was Fort Cobb State Park..about 200 miles...had a beautiful drive on the back roads of Oklahoma!  Stayed off the interstate until Norman, OK and then headed north till the 240..spent a little while on that and then back on the 152...nice farms and 2 lane road!

We stopped in a little town of Binger, OK to get fuel and 2 guys from the shop across the street came over to take pictures of the tractor..they were so cute...loved it and said they have tractors they drive in the parade...so awesome!

On we went and found the road leading to the park...it's a beautiful place...Ken made a fire, it was really cold but not a lot of wind...we are right on the water!! Only the camp host and us here...other than a guy came to collect and he was not very friendly!..funny, because usually the hosts are so awesome...oh well...onward we go tomorrow!
