A quick week! Adam visits, We buy a new car, Carson City for a few days, Happy 25th Anniversary Bryan and Cheryl!

A week ago on Friday, Grandson Adam showed up to spend the weekend with us. A week before that he bought a new Cross Trek Subaru. Nice car, we were impressed!

Adam and his new Crosstrek Subaru

Saturday morning it looked like this, but was gone
by afternoon!

He stayed with us until 0330 Tuesday morning when he left for Polluck Pines and work. He came over in the storm that CA was having but he said the roads were good Tuesday morning. Always love having grandkids visit!

Champagne Sunday looked a little different, as Karen and John invited us over for biscuits and gravy! Now who can turn that down?! We enjoyed breakfast and a couple of drinks and then came home and continued enjoying the day at home.

Before you knew it the weekend and more days were gone!

Wednesday got ourselves going and headed over to Carson City. Ken had to get some blood work done and then we had a late breakfast at Betsy's. Nearing 1100 we were headed to Michael Hohl Subaru to put a down payment on a Cross Trek that was going to be delivered to the dealer. Yes, we liked Adam's so much we decided to get one too.

Ken knew he was paying his truck off, so he wanted to get me a new car. We've been looking online for the last couple of months trying to decide which one. Adam had done a lot of research before buying his car so we went with his recommendation LOL.

Got to the dealership and Pablo had pulled one from their huge inventory that resembled the one that was in transit. Oh gosh, I fell in love. This one had a few more bells and whistles than the other one. So you know what happens at car lots, we bought this one! We came to a decent price we think and we traded in the 2016 Patriot. Off we went in our new car!

We ran to our safe deposit box in Reno and got the pink for the Patriot then dropped it off at the dealership.

We were spending the night in Carson as Ken had to be at the hospital at 0600 on Thursday. I had a couple of glasses of wine to celebrate. Ken couldn't have a beer though as he couldn't have any alcohol on Wednesday.

Thursday morning we got to the hospital and got checked in. He was having a procedure to hopefully get him out of AFIB. About 1400 they called me that he was ready to go. He's out of AFIB so we're hoping it'll be much longer than with the paddles he's had done twice. The doctor ordered an angiogram for him and they called today with a date of March 19th. Great cardiology team over there!

Instead of going home, we spent another night in Carson as the doctor recommended.

Carson Tahoe is a beautiful hospital full of windows and
gorgeous views in every direction.

I watched the weather change all day!

This morning we took our time getting ready as we wanted to go to breakfast and then run to Costco at 1000. We were home by 1230. Unloaded the car and decided it's time to write a blog 😁

Happy 25th Anniversary Bryan and Cheryl!

Bryan and Cheryl's new chicken house. So cute!

Their new chicks for the chicken house! I love baby

We'll be going next door for Happy Hour at 1700. 🍺🍷Let the weekend begin! πŸ˜‚

I’m sure you will love the new ride. Was that it off in the parking lot in the hospital pic?

    1. Aww you are too sweet! No, he backed it in at the back of the parking lot. He knows I hate backing out in a parking lot since I was the driver then. LOL.
