Attempt at the mountain climb...Lunch out, tennis and basketball...

Got up this am around 0700...special pancakes for the boys and spent the rest of the time getting ready to head out for the hike up the mountain...well, when we finally made it to the mountain hike at Wilson Canyon...I started up and then decided I couldn't do it...too much on the edge for me..and the signs of rattlesnakes...did it for me..even though it wasn't that warm, but in my head it just wasn't gonna work...Ken gave me the keys to the Tundra and my kindle and I spent a little time just enjoying while Ken and the boys headed out for a bit..the trail is 3.1 miles long so they didn't go that far, knowing I was at the truck.  They came back, and said they are going to go there in the am and do the trail.  They also said , "grandma, you wouldn't like it"...good enough for me!

Mason gave it up on the couch..

Morning..and he's raring to go..

Tennis...Mason..

Adam

On the trail that I didn't go...Seth

I hate to think what Adam and Seth are looking at....

The boys walking along the crest..

A view from the trail...uh noooo...

We headed to Dini's Casino in town and we all had a great lunch.  Headed to the park after that to try out our new tennis balls..and Seth and Adam played some basketball for awhile. Ken and I played with Mason and all of us got a good workout chasing after tennis balls. After an  hour and 1/2 or so we headed home.  Ken bar b qued some awesome pork steaks and ribs for dinner.   The dessert of the day was fruit cocktail dump cake..delicious!
Adam and Ken

Mason all by himself on one side...just the way he wanted it..

Seth..

An easy evening and now headed for bed.  Tomorrow it looks like the hike and then we'll head out to BLM land for a little shooting in the afternoon.  Saturday i'll take the boys home..probably until June when school is out!
