A trip to Reno and a couple of finds at an antique store in Dayton, NV

Ken decided he needed to beef up the trailer with
a few more slats...Looks awesome!

Another view of the trailer...
Tuesday the 13th we said "Happy Birthday" to our daughter in law Cheryl and then got ready to head for Reno.  We did a little shopping and then lunch at Great Basin for "Tightwad Tuesday".   After lunch we hit the antique store in Reno on Virginia St.  Didn't find anything we wanted so headed for Boomtown and checked i.  Again we had our $14.99 room and it was really nice.  Enjoyed the room for a few hours and then decided to go downstairs and see what we could find for dinner.  They have a little deli, but everything is already prepared and expensive.  Nothing there we were interested in.  So we went to the restaurant and I had the $9.99 T Bone dinner!  Awesome!  Ken had their burger deal and he really liked that!  After that and full tummies, up to bed we went.

Next morning I had a bone density test at 0915.  So we had breakfast at Boomtown and headed out!  Quick test and $176.00 later all done.  So we decided to stop at a few antique places on the way home.  In Dayton there's one we've never been to and Bingo!  I got a chest of drawers for the hallway (when we take this big, boring cabinet out)...and a dining room set.  We've been looking for a cracked ice style but haven't been able to find a complete set at a reasonable price.  So we came across this set in really good condition and even though it's not what we really want we really like it and they were asking $250.00 for the set, came down to $200.00.  SOLD!

We had the Patriot so we came home and did a turn around with the truck and trailer and went back and picked them up!
Topaz Lake...beautiful but alot lower than it should be!

Our new dining set...a perfect fit!

The chairs are in excellent condition!

Both Ken and I really liked this chest of drawers..
It's about 4 feet wide which is perfect for where I
want it.  Good paint condition except for the top
so will try to get Lowe's to match it as we really
liked the color..asking $100.00 got it for $80.00.
So today we had an appointment to pick up a cord or so of wood from a guy in Coleville, Ca (57 mi from here)...so who am I to pass up a ride?!  Nice drive and nice guys.  Love highway 395 out of Topaz so pretty..
The trailer hard at work with wood! Did great!

Nice little trailer, even better filled with wood!
We had thought we'd go camping tomorrow to Pyramid Lake but it's so cold we're rethinking that and think we'll be here till we leave for Parker, AZ after Ken's dentist appt on the 26th.  Hopefully that schedule all works!
