Going back a bit. Ben and Kaitlyn's wedding, Meeting Miss Avery in person and a few days with my sister's family at the ocean. Aaron's home!

Saturday June 13th we left home and headed to CA once again. We had a wedding to attend. Ben (Adam's cousin) and Kaitlyn were tying the knot at the Blue Goose Events Center in Loomis, CA. Ben used to spend time with us way back when he and Adam were small. We took him to the ocean camping and other things.

We got to Russell's place and got ourselves changed and headed to the wedding. I would call the setting country elegance. Just beautiful. They got married in a lovely, short ceremony then let the reception begin! It was fun and while they got pictures taken there was an open bar and appetizers.

I love this picture of them. You can't see how beautiful Kaitlyn
is but you can sure see the love in Ben's eyes. 💕

Later they did the newlywed dance, father daughter dance and then they had all the married couples come out to the dance floor. They then started get rid of couples by asking who's been married less than a year, 5years and so on. They finally got to 50 and there was only one other couple and us. Well, we beat them with 53 to their 51.

We got a very nice prize too!

There was a lovely bottle of Chardonnay too, but somehow
that got drank 😁

Then dinner was served buffet style. Mexican, our favorite. After some more dancing and visiting we left around 2030.

Adam and his fiancee Erin 💕 Looks like September 2027
for them!

Adam and his grandma Linda (Cheryl's mom). He hasn't
seen her in a few years. Love this pic!

Once we got to Russell's another party was going on LOL. Friends were over and we enjoyed some more Happy Hour.

Sunday, we had plans with everyone to meet at Old Town Pizza in Auburn at 1100. The star of the show of course, was Avery. She was just a little over a month old and cute as can be. Great Grandma got to hold her for a long time! 💖

Just so darn beautiful!

4 generation picture. Great Grandpa Ken, Grandpa Eric,
Dad Seth, and baby Avery. Hoping to get 5 generation picture
with Ken's mom at the end of July 💖

There was about 14 of us there. Jesse, John and Andrea joined us too. I love when we can all get together like that!

Thursday the 18th I headed back over to Russell's house to spend the night. They took me out to dinner at Round Table Club House in Citrus Heights. A cool place and everyone knows each other there on Thursday nights. We enjoyed pizza and a few drinks and then headed over to The One Spot in Roseville. It was Andrea's birthday and she was celebrating after jumping out of a perfectly good airplane! We stayed longer than we should have, but....

Friday morning I headed over to my sister Linda's house. We were going to the ocean on her yearly trip she does. Met up with Dusty and family and we headed to Sebastopol for a later lunch. We had been to this place a few years ago. Delicious food and way too much.

Then to the house she rented for the weekend. After that the fun began (well it really began earlier). The house was beautiful, called Knot a Care. The weekend consisted of food, drink, fun, kids, family and friends. Linda always does a beautiful job of taking care of everyone on this trip. I usually do the cooking for breakfast, eating out lunch, then great dinners at the house. It always goes way too fast. Thank you Linda and Bobby. 💖

Cassidy the ping pong Queen!

Uncle Jesse losing to her 😂

This was cute. All the boys interested in Owen's new
baseball cards. He's got tons!!

Just relaxing...

Jesse and I enjoyed Champagne Sunday morning

Dusty and Chelsea 💖

The long line at the Fisherterian in Bodega Bay. We were
there at 1100 on Saturday. No line. Father's day same
time it was crazy long lines!

Owen enjoying the hot tub!

Cassidy too!

A great time was had by all for sure!

Yesterday we cleaned up and got ready to head home. I was riding with Linda and Bobby so we got to their place around 1130 or so. I left and ran by Raley's to pick up a few things and  then headed for Russell's house. I was supposed to go home, but somehow said I would make enchiladas because AARON is home for a few weeks. He wasn't supposed to come home all summer from Santa Barbara, but he is! So, what do Grandma's do when the college kid comes home!

We had a good evening watching soccer and visiting.

This morning I left hime a couple of egg burritos and headed forhome about 0740.

So here I am back at home enjoying the a/c because it's HOT outside!

A few random pics and I'll end the blog for now.

Grandma Linda and Grandpa Bobby took the kids out for
last day of school treat!

Congratulations Owen, he's heading to middle school (6th grade)
He's going to Barrett Intermediate which is the same school my
sisters and I attended over 50 years ago. It used to b 7th and 8th
now they consider middle school 6th. Seems to be the thing nowadays
