Happy 21st Birthday Aaron! Holly's Baby Shower, Champagne Sunday

Last Thursday we were able to get out to the BLM for a nice ride in the Can Am.  It's been too cold but it was a great day!

It was a beautiful day and the sky was so blue!

Friday I left for Antelope to spend the night before going to Holly's baby shower in Elk Grove. Russell and Lori had left for San Diego that morning for a few days to visit Jacob, Allissa and Aaron was going to be there too.

Happy 21st Aaron! πŸ’™

Love those smiling faces! πŸ’™ Aaron and a legal beer!

I think they're all enjoying San Diego!

Aaron and Burt! 😁

Allissa made some yummy treats for Aaron! πŸ’–

Burt loves his daddy!

Russell and Lori met Burt. I'm thinking it was love at first sight!

Friday was Grandson Aaron's 21st birthday. He was going to spend the day and night with friends in Santa Barbara and head to SD on Saturday.

John and Andrea had heard that I was going to be in town so they wanted to take me out to dinner and then drinks at The One Spot. They picked me up about 1800 and we headed for Old Town Pizza Roseville.

After a delicious dinner of pizza, salad and wine for me we headed over to The One Spot. I finally met some people I've been wanting to meet. Jesse and Marci Walker. Great people as I knew they would be.

We had a couple and then went back to Russell and Lori's place. I think it was about midnight when they left! It was a wonderful Friday night!

Saturday morning I left about 0845 to pick up my sister Linda. We headed for Elk Grove for Holly's Baby Shower. It was held at the  beautiful Lamoure Vineyard! What a place. Holly's mom runs the place during her working hours. She took us on a tour after the shower but left my phone back at the venue. It's so incredibly gorgeous!

The food was incredible along with desserts! We enjoyed watching Holly open her tons of gifts. Baby girl won't be wanting for anything for a long while!

Mom to be, Holly! πŸ’–

This was a nice surprise when I saw Ken's mom show up with Diane!
She will be a first time Great Great Grandma at 98.  Diane across and my sister
Linda πŸ’— I missed Adam's fiancee, Erin at the table.

Around 1400 we left and I took Linda back home and I headed for home myself. Around 1830 I pulled into the driveway just in time for Happy Hour!

Ken had a good day, he met up with our friends Joel and Randi to watch the Yerington250 at the BLM. It's a fun race to watch every year.

Sunday of course was Champagne Sunday. We settled on ribs and potato salad that I threw together that morning. As long as he had the Pit Boss going might as well make it worth his while. :)

Ribs, chicken and boneless ribs

A lovely sunset last night

Lunch out when Adam was in Arkansas

Another week that has flown by once again. We'll be heading into April soon and a trip to Arkansas πŸ’–

Happy Hour! Have a great night!
