Adam comes for a short visit, Ken's working on getting the bricks over here, lovely weather, more convoy pictures!

 Sunday we got a text from grandson Adam asking if we were home and could he come for the night. Of course! 

He arrived around 1530 and was kinda hungry. He knew Papa was barbecuing burgers and chicken so he didn't want too much. A sandwich fit the bill 😁

We visited awhile out back because it was so nice and warm. That's where he found us when he got here. 

Once it cooled off Ken made a nice fire and we enjoyed visiting with him some more. 

Eventually we called it a night and went inside and then to bed. 

Next morning he decided to head out. He wanted to do some hiking somewhere. Today I found out he went over to Coloma and then to his parents out in Lincoln, CA. He spent the night in their little trailer and was headed out today for Livescan fingerprints up in Chico. 

Thanks Tom and Deb for this bottle of vanilla.  Two years it's lasted! 💜

We've been home except for a ride to Raley's in town. Woohoo. Hahahaha. 

Yesterday it hit 72 here so the afternoon was spent outside for me. I cleaned and vacuumed the inside of my car. Desert dust is gone for a bit. Ken has been outside whether it's cold or not. There's always something for him to do! 

Today he's bringing over the concrete blocks from two doors down. John's tractor is getting a bit of a work out. Some are going on one of our trailers as on a pallet there's too much weight for the tractor. So Ken's back is getting a work out too. LOL.

Illinois State Police contacted the convoy and said they weren't wanted in their state
When the citizens of Illinois heard that they contacted government and Police. Their tune changed pretty quickly and the convoy was welcomed with open arms. They even had a helicopter flying a huge flag met the convoy at the border! Illinois had tons of people greeting the convoy on overpasses all across their route! 💙

From what I saw today there's a convoy coming into Q tomorrow at 0300. They're staging at the Love's Travel Stop and leaving from there at 0700! Get to an overpass and wave!! 

Ken's about to finish up in the next little bit, just in time for Happy Hour! 🍷🍺
