Picked up the trailer!

We left home yesterday am heading to Gardnerville and Carson City.  Decided to do a little shopping for the new trailer so we started at WalMart in Gardnerville.  That pretty much did what I wanted to do as far as getting supplies for the new trailer.  From there we headed to Sam's Club looking for a restaurant mat (the kind with holes) for the back of the truck so it wouldn't get scratched from ice chest etc...didn't find anything so left there and headed for an antique mall nearer to downtown.  It was great going through it, and I actually saw a few pieces of furniture I might like for the hallway to put linens etc in...didn't buy anything, but I could see going back.  We were actually looking for a dinette set from the 50's ...they call it cracked ice and everyone had one back then...we'd like to have one with chairs for our kitchen area. Don't really care what color, just a full set for a reasonable price.  I saw one at Midway Antiques in Sacramento, but he wanted $950.00 for a red one.  Just a bit (haha) to much money...

After we left there it was 1300....well u know what that means in Reno...Great Basin, for an awesome lunch..an icky for Ken and a glass of chardonnay for me!...

Well, the Ford was making noise...Ken figured it was the ball bearing having to do with the clutch (not sure if that's totally right, but he's outside)...we went by Dynamic Diesel and the mechanics were staring at us as we drove in...sure they know the truck by now (it's been in there many times)..but we figured the noise was loud...Ken went in and it looks to be a 16 to 17 hundred dollar fix...so that kinda put a damper on the day...

Then we left there and headed for Boomtown where I had made reservations for the night.  Not as cheap ($29.99) and not in the North tower but still ok for the price...I brought dinner from home so we just enjoyed our evening in.

This morning took our time getting ready then went downstairs and had an awesome breakfast!   Went by RC Willey as we had a little time to kill before our appointment and then spent the net couple of hours with the walk through...love the trailer!

Got home about 1700 and then Ken got the 20 foot trailer hooked up to the new Tundra.  He's headed for Rio Linda and KC's tomorrow as he is going to pick up our new tractor from him.  I'm staying home and then heading for Linda's Sunday am for Chelsea's baby shower.  He'll head home on Sunday, and depending on when I get done at Linda's will determine when I come home....

Truck and trailer at Sierra RV

We got a $50.00 gift certificate...so we spent $174.00...
I'd say they know what they're doing!

Out the back window of the Ford...

HOME!!

I love this little trailer!

Ken's storage area underneath....
