Dillon Beach CA, A little work on the outdoor kitchen, Night In the Country, Company!

Our gorgeous sunset last night, thunder and lightning too
We didn't get any rain, but Reno (about 90 miles away) got
pounded.

Well, here it is already coming upon the end of July!

Thursday, July 17th I left home and headed for Dixon, CA to spend the night. I was going to the cemetery to visit my mom and dad, but it was 92 degrees so I decided to wait until morning.

July 18th I had a visit with them and then headed for Valley Ford, CA where I was meeting my sister Linda and her family. It was time for her annual Dillon Beach trip and I'm always invited. 😊

Love this bar!

Bobby and Linda coming in...💗

Uncle E (Ethan) and Owen checking out the waves

Chelsea and Cassidy 💖

We met at Rocker's Roadhouse and had a great lunch there. Lot's of seafood, but not me LOL.

From there we headed to Dillon Beach and the house that she rented for 3 nights. The next couple of days were a blur, but a great time was had by  us all. Thank you Linda and Bobby for the wonderful time as always! 💙

Puzzle time..

Owen, Chelsea and Cassidy. SMORF time!

Sunday morning Mimosas at the beach with Jesse! 😃

The little museum at Pt. Reyes Light House

313 steps to the lighthouse. I stayed up top with Linda and
we people watched. I've been down there several times
over the years.

Happy Campers!

Chelsea, who is as sweet as her smile 💗

I got home on Monday afternoon and was greeted by Ken and some more work done on the outdoor kitchen. 💗

Ken got a couple of more rows done of pavers, but first had
to dig up this monster of a boulder that was under the sand
about an inch and a half or so.

This week we spent getting ready for some company and just being home. It was a cooler week so we didn't get in the stock tank. Heating up again now.

Friday the 25th Diane (Ken's sister) got here early afternoon. Seth and Mason pulled in about 2000 after work. Jesse came on Saturday.

Seth and Mason 💙

Ken and Diane 😍

Christina sent this yummy peach pie from Apple Hill with
boys. To die for! She knows peach is my favorite. She
also sent apple donuts too. Hard to resist. 💕

Seth and Mason were here to go to Night in The Country about 5 miles from here. It's a huge event that raises money for The Boys and Girls Club. They had quite a line up of "country artists" that played every night from Thursday to Saturday. The only one I knew was Thursday night's Joe Nichols. Guess my age is showing. LOL.

We took John and Karen's side by side and Jesse and Diane took ours out to look at the crowds of RVs. The boys got in about 0100 so didn't see them until Sunday morning. They had a great time and want to come back next year for the whole thing. If that happens we'll take the Mansion out there for them to stay in. We shall see.

Wall to wall campers out there! Amazes me every year!

We went to the top of a hill to see the RVS but can't find the
pictures. :(

Sunday morning, after breakfast Seth and Mason left for home. Always love having grandkids visit 💙💙

After they left, we enjoyed Champagne Sunday and BLT's. Karen came over for a sandwich too. Later in the afternoon headed out to BLM land and Ken, Jesse and Diane did a little shooting. After that back home and next door for a bit.

I crashed pretty early and missed the gorgeous sunset, but they captured it. Lightning and thunder too. Because I went to bed way too early, 0320 greeted me this am. I wanted to be sure to be up to fix Diane and Jesse some breakfast before they left. I wasn't sure what time that would be.

Jesse had to be at work at 1400 so they left about 0830 for Sacramento.

Always love having company, so it was a great weekend.

Don't get too many pictures of Bryan and Cheryl in Arkansas
💗

Kenna sent a couple of pictures of her and Aaron 💗 They had a nice
picnic out at Folsom Lake

Aaron 💗 Kenna leaves soon for her sophomore year in
Alabama. Aaron will be getting ready for UCSB.

We're heading next door for Happy Hour. Have a great

                                               evening!

  3. Where did July go, anyway? Family and friends, and living life as full as possible with those and each other. Life is too short and I'm happy to see you enjoying every moment. It looks like a great time was had by all. That little lighthouse is adorable, I'd have to do the stairs once!
